The Duck Inn in Stanhoe is 5 minutes' walk and has a popular, award winning restaurant that seems to be putting Stanhoe on the map.

Wells beach café is next to Wells Beach car park and has outside seating.
The Hoste at Burnham Market is in a lovely old building and the bar has an open fire in winter.
The Nelson at Burnham Market is more modest than The Hoste but the food is fine.
The Jolly Farmers at North Creake – dog-friendly pub and a fire in winter.
The Victoria, Holkham has a smart restaurant by the main entrance to Holkham Park.
The White Horse, Brancaster Staithe has a terrace overlooking the marshes where you can watch the sun go down.
The Golden Fleece in Wells got a makeover and is much more comfortable, with food and pizzas in a great location opposite the quay.
If you’re in Holt try Byfords for lunch or coffee, or the Owl Tea Rooms is a local institution.

Worth the trip is Wiveton Farm Café. It's at a PYO farm and serves great fresh food, including veggie options – try to catch their asparagus season.
